Sewer Lining Products Are Just The Beginning – Here’s The Rest Of The Story
At OBIC, we are passionate about our products. Some might even call us obsessive. We share product information on our website, give real-world application examples in our emails, and our sales team diligently discusses these benefits over the phone in a race to share OBIC products with our customers.
Okay, that last part may be a slight exaggeration, but we really are excited to share the OBIC product advantage with everyone interested in water and wastewater system rehabilitation. That being said, our products are only the beginning. The rest of the story starts with our team of chemists and ends with our certified OBIC installers.
Sewer lining repair solutions manufactured in an ISO 9001-2015 facility
OBIC specializes in manufacturing products that provide a cost-effective approach to repairing sewer system inflow/infiltration and corrosion issues commonly found in holding systems, manholes, treatment facilities, vaults and other structures. Yes, we realize that we are talking about our products again, but it is the manufacturing process that we want to focus on.
Most OBIC sewer lining/coating products are manufactured in an ISO 9001-2015 certified facility. What does this mean? According to iso.org, “this standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.” In other words, OBIC is committed to ensuring that our customers can depend on consistent, high-quality products and services.
We don’t take that certification lightly and are always working on innovative solutions that are designed specifically for Severe Service and USDA Food & Beverage compliant applications. Our manufacturing facility includes 10 chemists, three research and development labs and a quality control lab.
OBIC certified installers with sewer lining repair experience
Extraordinary products cannot achieve their maximum performance in the face of poor preparation and application. That is why our installer certification process involves rigorous selection criteria and hands-on-training to ensure that our installers are experts in the preparation and installation of sewer lining/coating systems.
While some manhole/wet-well coating manufacturers will emphasize how many installers they have, we prefer to highlight the knowledge and skills of OBIC certified installers. We take the time to carefully select installers who typically have experience in the water and wastewater industry. The certification process then includes a two-week, intensive training at OBIC headquarters followed by an additional week of training in the installer’s home territory.
Training and support don’t end after three weeks, however. Exceptional field support is an integral component of the OBIC sewer lining repair system. When an installer experiences product application issues, we don’t hesitate to send a team that typically includes a chemist, an equipment technician and a field service representative from headquarters to help troubleshoot and resolve the problem quickly.
The OBIC advantage
OBIC is committed to providing our customers and communities with high-quality, cost-effective products, and services for water and wastewater rehabilitation. Our company is guided by a DRIVEN philosophy.
These guiding principles, along with our faith, are how we continue to offer exceptional customer service and superior products. We’d be honored to demonstrate the OBIC Advantage, contact our team via our website, or call 866-636-4854.
